Only one of our 1st place school grant winners was announced today: Collins Gardens Elementary! Additional school grant winners will be named this week. We will have lost and found for the event at the SAISD Foundation.
This year's event kicked off at the historic Alamo Stadium in the center of our city with a 5K Run past the SA Zoo and through Brackenridge Park. The last lap was on the newly renovated Alamo Stadium and featured runners on the new state-of-the-art scoreboard as they crossed the finish line. We had over 3,100 participants representing 76 schools! Send us your photos or post to Facebook/SAISDFoundation. We will be loading event photos from our photographer soon.
Campus Coordinators - if you have any packets that do not belong at your schools, please send them to us in the Pony so we can get them to their owners. Thanks to all of our Campus Coordinators, teachers, parents and administrators for bringing out your students! Thanks again to our sponsors listed on the left panel and to the amazing volunteers from Frost, United HealthCare, Mission Academy Boys Leadership Club, Burbank Cheerleaders, TDIndustries, Mile Strong Kids and Travis Early College High School!
