The video above shares a few of the many investments the SAISD Foundation has made in expanding student experiences at Burbank High School. Additionally, we have recently made over $50,000 in investments for programs such as the 1st Annual Burbank Science Expo, Digital Recording Station, BHS Band, and many extracurricular enrichment opportunities.
Each year, the Foundation also supports scholarships and emergency gap funding for students going to college. In the past three years, we have awarded graduating seniors 70 scholarships and emergency gap awards at Burbank. These investments supported students going to universities from Loyola University Chicago, Trinity University, Pratt Institute, The University of North Texas at Dallas, Our Lady of the Lake University, The University of Texas – San Antonio and more!
