The video above shares one of the many investments the SAISD Foundation has made in expanding student experiences at Lanier High School. Additionally, our recent investment of over $20,000 supported the automotive and construction programs, the JROTC confidence course, and grants to art, history, and English teachers.
Each year, the Foundation also supports scholarships and emergency gap funding for students going to college. For the class of 2022 alone, we awarded graduating seniors 30 scholarships and emergency gap awards at Lanier. These investments supported students going to universities from Smith College, the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Texas Tech University, The University of Texas, Texas A&M University, Texas State University, and many more!
