“Be the Best One” Scholarship in Memory of Deborah “Debo” WilliamsThis Scholarship is available to one male and one female graduating senior from Sam Houston High School pursuing a post-secondary education in English, Speech, or Communications. Mrs. Williams graduated from Sam Houston in 1971. She had a lifelong career with SAISD teaching at multiple schools including Phyllis Wheatley and Page Middle Schools. She spent 15 of her 34-year career teaching at Sam Houston High School. We are proud to announce our @SAISDFoundation mini grant! The Cotton Academy Sharing Library will be available for all in our community to take/leave/exchange a book to help promote literacy for all and an opportunity to provide books for those who may not have books at home.
