Each year, we are honored to have over 1,500 SAISD Employees designate a gift to the SAISD Foundation through the United Way Campaign. In total, these donors contributed nearly $73,000 to support students and teachers. To show our appreciation, we awarded grants to a number of schools for the highest percentage of donors, having more than 50% of their employees give (our district wide goal) and for significant increases in the number of donors or dollars raised.

Campuses with 50% or more Employee Giving:

Barkley-Ruiz, Burbank, Carroll, Cotton, Estrada AC, Green, Harris, Herff, Highland Hills, Kelly, Lamar, Rogers, Young Men’s Leadership Academy, Washington

Thank you for your continued support of the SAISD Foundation!

The SAISD Foundation is working to fulfill our mission to mobilize the community to invest in student and teacher success. One of the key ways we do that is through events like our annual Golf Fore Excellence Tournament taking place on May 6 at the beautiful Brackenridge Park Golf Course.

Each year, the SAISD Foundation invests in approximately 400 Teacher Grants and 150 Student Awards for Scholarship and Emergency Gap Funding. In being a part of this event, you too are investing in the increased success of students and teachers in SAISD.
